With a passion for human behaviour and learning, Belinda obtained her Bachelor of Psychology in 2009 and was awarded First Class Honours, a University Medal and the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Prize. She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS).
Having worked in the health and disability sector for over a decade, Belinda is passionate about working collaboratively with people to reach their full potential. She has great respect for people’s vulnerability and courage as they proactively work to identify and reach their goals. Belinda practices evidence-based therapies including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). She brings a wealth of experience working with clients over 16 year of age presenting with a range of psychological, physical and personal challenges.
Belinda has extensive experience in workplace mental health, supporting workplaces to create a mentally healthy workplace for all team members, including those with mental ill-health and disability. Other areas of expertise include career counselling, suicide prevention, anxiety management, emotional regulation and self-care.
As a Psychology Board of Australia approved supervisor, Belinda values supporting early career, experienced practitioners and other professionals to provide exceptional quality services.
As an innovator and leader in the Allied Health space, Belinda has developed and led successful multidisciplinary health teams to provide exceptional quality health services. She is passionate about clinical governance and creating an environment where health practitioner can thrive.
Belinda brings joy and passion to her work and is standing in her arena having created Arena Health Solutions, a place where all humans are welcome and empowered to stand in their own arena.
