Creating a safe, comfortable, and warm environment for our clients
We have taken a lot of care and pride in creating a safe space for our customers. We provide neurodiversity affirming practices, are LGBTQIAP+ and sex worker friendly, and offer a transgender safe space: in essence, we provide a safe and affirming space for all humans. We understand any practice can write these words, however we ask you to put us to the test - come for a visit and let us know your thoughts. We welcome your feedback and will always strive to provide the safest environment for all humans.

Our Therapy Approach
Our psychologists predominantly work from an Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) framework. The aim of ACT is to maximise human potential for a rich, full and meaningful life (Harris, 2023), and it does this by helping you to:
1) develop psychological skills to deal more effectively with difficult thoughts and feelings, to reduce their impact and influence over you;
2) clarify your values (your heart’s deepest desires for how you want to behave as a human being; how you want to treat yourself, others and the world around you). You then use these values to guide, inspire and motivate yourself to take action: to do what matters, face your fears, live meaningfully, and change your life for the better; and
3) focus your attention on what is important and engage fully in whatever you are doing (Harris, 2023)
